Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Bakersfield will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

The food is ok. I like the Kung pao chicken. The chow mein is not my favorite from here, as I don't really care for the thick noodle.

The food is sometimes good. Sometimes bad. But always huge portions. I like the wonton soup. Just needs a little soy sauce to taste. Anything battered there is usually over battered to my liking. Sometimes it's all battering... Lol. But i usually just get;chicken and mushroom ;beef and broccoli, and one of the heavy battered items (either fish or shrimp). One 3 combo can feed my parents and I. But i get 2 orders for more rice and fish or shrimp snacking on the drive home. If you want bang for your buck. Come here. Don't come here expecting fine dining. It's more of a hole in the wall with great portions.

I ordered through Uber. Eaten there numerous times. Food is very inconsistent. Ordered beef and broccoli yesterday and it tasted like fish. Growing up overseas I know from experience it was more than likely rancid meat. It's hit or miss when you order there

I got chow mein, which was 4/5, mushroom chicken, which was 5/5, and i got broccoli beef, which was 4/5. The chow mein was lacking a little bit of flavor. the mushroom chicken has lots of flavor. the broccoli beef was too chewy but the broccoli itself was cooked good. the spring rolls are the typical ones you get from any restaurant.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like I need to warn people about this place. The food was completely inedible. The shrimp was over-breaded to the point where you could barely find any actual shrimp, and what little there was tasted stale and hard. The orange chicken was soggy and overly sweet, with a weird aftertaste, and the chow mein was bland and greasy. The fried rice wasn’t any better, it was dry, flavorless, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Do yourself a favor and avoid ordering from here. It’s honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had! When I called all they could offer was a β€œsorry”

Love this restaurant. Have been coming here for years. Food is amazing, and they serve you more than you can handle. I highly recommend the BBQ pork and butter shrimp. They have one of the best, if not the best, Orange chicken I have ever tasted. Make sure to get yourself some cream cheese wontons.
